General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

RAUFOMAT feeding systems Bischof & Haslinger GbR

1. Validity

The statutory provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB) and German Commercial Code (HGB) apply. We do not recognize any deviating terms and conditions of the customer unless we expressly agree to them in writing.

2. Warranty

Our products are covered by the statutory warranty period of 2 years. Within the first 12 months, the burden of proof lies with us; thereafter, it lies with the buyer.

No warranty is provided in the following cases:

  • Damage caused by improper use or force,
  • Assembly or operation contrary to the instructions,
  • Use on unsuitable racks or metal structures,
  • technical changes or interventions by third parties,
  • non-genuine replacement parts,
  • Raufomat operation with more than four horses per hay rack.
  • Cobomat operation with more than one horse per hay pellet.

3. Complaints and returns

Complaints must be sent to us in writing or by email. Returns will only be accepted after prior agreement.

4. Repairs

Repairs covered by the warranty are free of charge. For damage not covered by the warranty, we will provide a cost estimate in advance. If a repair is refused or no defect is found, we will charge a flat-rate inspection fee of 119 € including VAT plus shipping. Return shipping will take place after receipt of payment.

5. Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by improper use, incorrect assembly, or unprofessional electrical connections. Electrical connections may only be made by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable standards.

6. Withdrawal by us

We may withdraw from the contract if

  • false information is provided,
  • our products are used for purposes other than those intended,
  • there are justified doubts about the safety of the installation.

7. Construction of a wood rack or Cobomat

The information we provide is non-binding. The customer bears sole responsibility for the construction, materials, and safety when building a hay rack Cobomat.

8. Payment

Payment must be made in advance within 5 business days of the invoice date.

9. Delivery

The delivery time will be agreed upon individually.

10. Revocation

The statutory cancellation policy applies.

11. Severability clause

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

12. Place of jurisdiction

For entrepreneurs, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
